Ruth Damys Orange is a native of Naples, Florida and is of Caribbean descent. She speaks, reads and writes Haitian-Creole fluently. She found herself drawn to the law field early in her childhood, so after pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida, she pursued her Juris Doctorate Degree from Texas Southern University, where she graduated cum laude. Through out law school, she was the Chief Justice of the Board of Advocates and actively involved in the Student Bar Association.
Mrs. Orange's past experience includes representing and defending prominent insurance companies in injury claims, trying traffic cases in Collier County, defending indigent clients in Houston, and interning for a County Court Judge in the 20th Judicial Circuit. Prior to law practice, Mrs. Orange worked at a financial investments firm where she was exposed to Trust Administration and Estate Planning. In her free time, she enjoys watching College Football with her husband, Gelo, and spending time with her children, Deangelo and Leila.
